This sequence change replaces arginine, which is basic and polar, with glycine, which is neutral and non-polar, at codon 39 of the CLN6 protein (p.Arg39Gly). This variant is present in population databases (rs142260866, gnomAD 0.002%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with CLN6-related conditions.
