The c.2975A>T (p.H992L) alteration is located in exon 30 (coding exon 30) of the FANCA gene. This alteration results from a A to T substitution at nucleotide position 2975, causing the histidine (H) at amino acid position 992 to be replaced by a leucine (L). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.

This sequence change replaces histidine, which is basic and polar, with leucine, which is neutral and non-polar, at codon 992 of the FANCA protein (p.His992Leu).
