The c.2891C>T (p.P964L) alteration is located in exon 18 (coding exon 18) of the TRAPPC9 gene. This alteration results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 2891, causing the proline (P) at amino acid position 964 to be replaced by a leucine (L). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -

This sequence change replaces proline, which is neutral and non-polar, with leucine, which is neutral and non-polar, at codon 964 of the TRAPPC9 protein (p.Pro964Leu). This variant is present in population databases (rs199948844, gnomAD 0.09%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with TRAPPC9-related conditions.
