The c.4226G>C (p.R1409T) alteration is located in exon 67 (coding exon 66) of the COL16A1 gene. This alteration results from a G to C substitution at nucleotide position 4226, causing the arginine (R) at amino acid position 1409 to be replaced by a threonine (T). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
