Uncertain significance, criteria provided, single submitter | clinical testing | Ambry Genetics | May 28, 2024 | The c.926G>A (p.G309D) alteration is located in exon 12 (coding exon 12) of the KPNA3 gene. This alteration results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 926, causing the glycine (G) at amino acid position 309 to be replaced by an aspartic acid (D). This variant was not reported in population-based cohorts in the Genome Aggregation Database (gnomAD). This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. This alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. - |
