The c.194C>A (p.A65E) alteration is located in exon 4 (coding exon 2) of the TMEM253 gene. This alteration results from a C to A substitution at nucleotide position 194, causing the alanine (A) at amino acid position 65 to be replaced by a glutamic acid (E).
