This sequence change replaces alanine, which is neutral and non-polar, with aspartic acid, which is acidic and polar, at codon 152 of the AP4S1 protein (p.Ala152Asp). This variant is present in population databases (rs758028160, gnomAD 0.006%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with AP4S1-related conditions. ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 570901).
