This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with RYR3-related disease. This variant is present in population databases (rs770219178, ExAC 0.009%). This sequence change replaces arginine with leucine at codon 3148 of the RYR3 protein (p.Arg3148Leu). The arginine residue is moderately conserved and there is a moderate physicochemical difference between arginine and leucine. -
