The c.786G>T (p.W262C) alteration is located in exon 2 (coding exon 2) of the MESP1 gene. This alteration results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 786, causing the tryptophan (W) at amino acid position 262 to be replaced by a cysteine (C).
