This sequence change replaces serine, which is neutral and polar, with tryptophan, which is neutral and slightly polar, at codon 79 of the FLCN protein (p.Ser79Trp). This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with FLCN-related conditions. ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 3369).
