Genes affected
KCNJ15 (HGNC:6261): (potassium inwardly rectifying channel subfamily J member 15) Potassium channels are present in most mammalian cells, where they participate in a wide range of physiologic responses. The protein encoded by this gene is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel. The encoded protein has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell. Eight transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. ACMG classification

Classification made for transcript

Verdict is Benign. Variant got -12 ACMG points.

BP4
Computational evidence support a benign effect (BayesDel_noAF=-0.86).
BS1
Variant frequency is greater than expected in population afr. gnomad4 allele frequency = 0.00842 (1283/152356) while in subpopulation AFR AF= 0.03 (1247/41578). AF 95% confidence interval is 0.0286. There are 19 homozygotes in gnomad4. There are 588 alleles in male gnomad4 subpopulation. Median coverage is 33. This position pass quality control queck.
BS2
High Homozygotes in GnomAd4 at 19 AR gene
