The threonine at codon 1131 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This variant has been detected in an individual from a control cohort; however, clinical details were limited (Kapplinger JD et al. Circ Cardiovasc Genet, 2015 Aug;8:582-95).This amino acid position is not well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive.
