Members of this family contain an N-terminal cysteine-rich domain with a distinct cysteine pattern, a single transmembrane domain, and a C-terminal proline-rich, low complexity region. The c.110A>G (p.N37S) alteration is located in exon 1 (coding exon 1) of the SHISA3 gene. This alteration results from a A to G substitution at nucleotide position 110, causing the asparagine (N) at amino acid position 37 to be replaced by a serine (S). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
