The c.555T>A (p.N185K) alteration is located in exon 7 (coding exon 6) of the VDAC1 gene. This alteration results from a T to A substitution at nucleotide position 555, causing the asparagine (N) at amino acid position 185 to be replaced by a lysine (K).
