Cardiovascular phenotype Uncertain:1
Uncertain significance, criteria provided, single submitter | clinical testing | Ambry Genetics | Sep 28, 2023 | The p.H1101Y variant (also known as c.3301C>T), located in coding exon 24 of the LAMA4 gene, results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 3301. The histidine at codon 1101 is replaced by tyrosine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is not well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. The evidence for this gene-disease relationship is limited; therefore, the clinical significance of this alteration is unclear. - |
