The c.590G>T (p.C197F) alteration is located in exon 3 (coding exon 2) of the FAM83B gene. This alteration results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 590, causing the cysteine (C) at amino acid position 197 to be replaced by a phenylalanine (F).
