Cystic fibrosis Uncertain:1
The p.M645T variant (also known as c.1934T>C), located in coding exon 14 of the CFTR gene, results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 1934. The methionine at codon 645 is replaced by threonine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -

not provided Uncertain:1
The CFTR c.1934T>C; p.Met645Thr variant (rs377731410), to our knowledge, is not reported in the medical literature or gene specific databases. This variant is found in the general population with a low overall allele frequency of 0.002% (5/251134 alleles) in the Genome Aggregation Database. The methionine at codon 645 is moderately conserved, but computational analyses (SIFT, PolyPhen-2) predict that this variant is tolerated. However, due to the lack of clinical and functional data, the significance of this variant is uncertain at this time. -
