This sequence change replaces glutamic acid, which is acidic and polar, with lysine, which is basic and polar, at codon 532 of the TOP1MT protein (p.Glu532Lys). This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with TOP1MT-related conditions.
