The p.C620R variant (also known as c.1858T>C), located in coding exon 11 of the RECQL4 gene, results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 1858. The cysteine at codon 620 is replaced by arginine, an amino acid with highly dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be deleterious by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear. -
