This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with SIN3A-related conditions. This variant is present in population databases (rs148486660, gnomAD 0.04%), and has an allele count higher than expected for a pathogenic variant. This sequence change replaces arginine, which is basic and polar, with histidine, which is basic and polar, at codon 1224 of the SIN3A protein (p.Arg1224His). -
