Of note, green monkey, chinchilla, rabbit, pig, cat, David's myotis bat, microbat, armadillo, and platypus have a proline (Pro) at this position despite high near by amino acid conservation. In addition, computational prediction tools do not suggest a high likelihood of impact to the protein.
