The c.2477T>C (p.F826S) alteration is located in exon 20 (coding exon 20) of the SMPD4 gene. This alteration results from a T to C substitution at nucleotide position 2477, causing the phenylalanine (F) at amino acid position 826 to be replaced by a serine (S).
