This sequence change replaces glutamic acid, which is acidic and polar, with glycine, which is neutral and non-polar, at codon 33 of the MED25 protein (p.Glu33Gly). This variant is present in population databases (no rsID available, gnomAD 0.009%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with MED25-related conditions. ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 2179621).
