The c.254-3C>T intronic alteration results from a C to T substitution 3 nucleotides before coding exon 4 in the GDI1 gene. This variant was not reported in population-based cohorts in the Genome Aggregation Database (gnomAD). This nucleotide position is well conserved in available vertebrate species. In silico splice site analysis for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
