Hereditary cancer-predisposing syndrome Uncertain:2
The p.L1851F variant (also known as c.5551C>T), located in coding exon 36 of the ATM gene, results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 5551. The leucine at codon 1851 is replaced by phenylalanine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -

not provided Uncertain:1
Not observed in large population cohorts (Lek 2016); In silico analysis supports that this missense variant does not alter protein structure/function; Observed in an unaffected control in a breast cancer case-control study (Decker 2017); This variant is associated with the following publications: (PMID: 28779002, 25801821) -
Ataxia-telangiectasia syndrome Benign:1
