The c.469C>A (p.R157S) alteration is located in exon 1 (coding exon 1) of the LRRC10 gene. This alteration results from a C to A substitution at nucleotide position 469, causing the arginine (R) at amino acid position 157 to be replaced by a serine (S). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
Dilated Cardiomyopathy, Dominant Uncertain:1
This sequence change replaces arginine, which is basic and polar, with serine, which is neutral and polar, at codon 157 of the LRRC10 protein (p.Arg157Ser). This variant is present in population databases (rs201257055, gnomAD 0.01%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with LRRC10-related conditions.
