This sequence change replaces aspartic acid, which is acidic and polar, with valine, which is neutral and non-polar, at codon 41 of the ACSF3 protein (p.Asp41Val). This variant is present in population databases (rs545886514, gnomAD 0.03%). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with ACSF3-related conditions. ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 565935).
