The variant allele was found at a frequency of 4e-06 in 251216 control chromosomes (gnomAD). c.932delT has been reported in the literature in the compound heterozygous state in an individual affected with Very Long Chain Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (Mathur_1999). This report does not allow for unequivocal conclusions about variant significance. To our knowledge, no experimental evidence demonstrating an impact on protein function has been reported. Four clinical diagnostic laboratories have submitted clinical-significance assessments for this variant to ClinVar after 2014 and all classified the variant as pathogenic (n=3)/likely pathogenic (n=1).
