This increases the likelihood that the Arg170Gly variant is disease causing; however, additional information is still needed to fully assess the clinical significance of this variant. - |

This variant has been observed in individual(s) with clinical features of TNNI3-related conditions (PMID: 25326637, 32182250). ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 165517). This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change replaces arginine with glycine at codon 170 of the TNNI3 protein (p.Arg170Gly). The arginine residue is highly conserved and there is a moderate physicochemical difference between arginine and glycine. - |
