ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 13045). This missense change has been observed in individuals with autosomal dominant RHO-related conditions (PMID: 7846071, 33669941). It has also been observed to segregate with disease in related individuals. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change replaces glycine with aspartic acid at codon 90 of the RHO protein (p.Gly90Asp). The glycine residue is highly conserved and there is a moderate physicochemical difference between glycine and aspartic acid. -
