This sequence change deletes 3 nucleotides and inserts 4 nucleotides in exon 50 of the DMD mRNA (c.7241_7243delinsGTTT), causing a frameshift at codon 2414. This creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Asn2414Serfs*13) and is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product. -
