The variant was identified in dbSNP (ID: rs113726095) as "With Likely benign allele" and ClinVar (classified as likely benign by Invitae, Ambry Genetics, GeneDx and Color). The variant was identified in 21 of 276914 chromosomes at a frequency of 0.00008 (Genome Aggregation Database Feb 27, 2017). It was observed in the following populations: African in 5 of 23880 chromosomes (freq: 0.0002), Other in 1 of 6466 chromosomes (freq: 0.0002), Latino in 2 of 34420 chromosomes (freq: 0.00006), European in 10 of 126558 chromosomes (freq: 0.00008), and South Asian in 3 of 30782 chromosomes (freq: 0.00009); it was not observed in the Ashkenazi Jewish, East Asian, or Finnish populations.
