Mutations in this gene are associated with cerebral palsy spastic quadriplegic type 5 (CPSQ5) disorder. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with DCLRE1B-related disease. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change replaces leucine with arginine at codon 26 of the DCLRE1B protein (p.Leu26Arg). The leucine residue is highly conserved and there is a moderate physicochemical difference between leucine and arginine. -
