The encoded protein is a member of the MRE11/RAD50 double-strand break repair complex which consists of 5 proteins. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
