The c.1712C>A (p.P571Q) alteration is located in exon 11 (coding exon 11) of the DNAAF1 gene. This alteration results from a C to A substitution at nucleotide position 1712, causing the proline (P) at amino acid position 571 to be replaced by a glutamine (Q). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
This sequence change replaces proline with glutamine at codon 571 of the DNAAF1 protein (p.Pro571Gln). The proline residue is weakly conserved and there is a moderate physicochemical difference between proline and glutamine. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency).
