The PLEC p.V3355L variant was not identified in the literature but was identified in dbSNP (ID: rs201373953) and ClinVar (classified as likely benign by GeneDx and Invitae; and as uncertain significance by CeGaT Praxis). The variant was identified in control databases in 82 of 274238 chromosomes at a frequency of 0.0002990, and was observed at the highest frequency in the European (non-Finnish) population in 49 of 125364 chromosomes (freq: 0.0003909) (Genome Aggregation Database March 6, 2019, v2.1.1).
