Submissions by phenotype
Familial thoracic aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection Uncertain:1
The p.H709R variant (also known as c.2126A>G), located in coding exon 13 of the NOTCH1 gene, results from an A to G substitution at nucleotide position 2126. The histidine at codon 709 is replaced by arginine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
not provided Uncertain:1
Has not been previously published as pathogenic or benign to our knowledge; In silico analysis supports that this missense variant has a deleterious effect on protein structure/function -
