Cystic fibrosis Uncertain:1
The p.V1108I variant (also known as c.3322G>A), located in coding exon 20 of the CFTR gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 3322. The valine at codon 1108 is replaced by isoleucine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -
