This variant co-occurred with a frameshift variant in the DSC2 gene in an individual from an arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy cohort (Castelletti S et al. Int. J. Cardiol., 2017 Dec;249:268-273). This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis.
