The frequency data for this variant in the population databases is considered unreliable, as metrics indicate poor data quality at this position in the gnomAD database. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with MYBPC3-related conditions. ClinVar contains an entry for this variant (Variation ID: 580112). An algorithm developed specifically for the MYBPC3 gene suggests that this missense change is likely to be tolerated (PMID: 21310275). This variant disrupts the p.Arg306 amino acid residue in MYBPC3.
