This alteration results from a A to G substitution at nucleotide position 7849, causing the isoleucine (I) at amino acid position 2617 to be replaced by a valine (V). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -

In summary, this variant is a rare missense change that is not predicted to affect protein function. This sequence change replaces isoleucine with valine at codon 2617 of the RYR3 protein (p.Ile2617Val). The isoleucine residue is highly conserved and there is a small physicochemical difference between isoleucine and valine. -
