The p.T746I variant (also known as c.2237C>T), located in coding exon 20 of the TSC2 gene, results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 2237. The threonine at codon 746 is replaced by isoleucine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species.
