The p.Met404Thr variant in ATP6V1B1 has not been previously reported in individu als with hearing loss. It was identified in 1/66734 European chromosomes by the Exome Aggregation Consortium (ExAC, http://exac.broadinstitute.org; dbSNP rs7821 07153); however, its frequency is not high enough to rule out a pathogenic role.
