However, these predictions have yet to be confirmed by functional studies. The variant was absent in 249428 control chromosomes. c.6501-2delA has been detected as a de novo variant in an individual with clinical features of Intellectual Disability And Distinctive Facial Features With Or Without Cardiac Defects tested at our lab. To our knowledge, no experimental evidence demonstrating its impact on protein function have been reported. No submitters have cited clinical-significance assessments for this variant to ClinVar.
