The variant was identified in dbSNP (ID: rs761127076) and in control databases in 5 of 282318 chromosomes at a frequency of 0.00001771 (Genome Aggregation Database March 6, 2019, v2.1.1). The variant was observed in the following populations: Other in 1 of 7206 chromosomes (freq: 0.000139), European (non-Finnish) in 1 of 128794 chromosomes (freq: 0.000008), and African in 3 of 24962 chromosomes (freq: 0.00012), but was not observed in the South Asian, Latino, European (Finnish), East Asian, or Ashkenazi Jewish populations. The variant occurs outside of the splicing consensus sequence and three out of four in silico or computational programs (MaxEntScan, NNSPLICE, GeneSplicer, SpliceSiteFinder) predict a greater than 10% difference in splicing.
