This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with GPAA1-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (gnomAD no frequency). This variant, c.72_74del, is a complex sequence change that results in the deletion of 2 and insertion of 1 amino acid(s) in the GPAA1 protein (p.Leu24_Cys25delinsPhe). This variant also falls at the last nucleotide of exon 1, which is part of the consensus splice site for this exon. - |
