The c.11945G>A (p.R3982Q) alteration is located in exon 89 (coding exon 89) of the RYR3 gene. This alteration results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 11945, causing the arginine (R) at amino acid position 3982 to be replaced by a glutamine (Q). Based on insufficient or conflicting evidence, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear. -

This sequence change replaces arginine, which is basic and polar, with glutamine, which is neutral and polar, at codon 3982 of the RYR3 protein (p.Arg3982Gln).
