This variant is also reported in ClinVar (Variation ID: 408317). It is absent from the Genome Aggregation Database (v2.1.1), indicating it is not a common polymorphism. Computational analyses predict that this variant is deleterious (REVEL: 0.804). A different variant at this codon (p.Thr362Met) has also been reported in individuals with MFN2-related neuropathy and is classified as likely pathogenic/pathogenic by multiple laboratories (see ClinVar Variation ID: 30738).
