The p.S20188N variant (also known as c.60563G>A), located in coding exon 156 of the TTN gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 60563. The serine at codon 20188 is replaced by asparagine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is well conserved in available vertebrate species.
