Truncations downstream of this position have been classified as pathogenic by our laboratory (e.g.c.1029delT/ p.Tyr343fs). One in silico tool predicts a damaging outcome for this variant. This variant is absent in 74870 control chromosomes. However, it has been reported in multiple GD patients as compound heterozygotes (mostly with Korean ethnicities).
